Prospective Members

Becoming a Law Review Member

Incoming second-year law students achieve membership in the Law Review via a competitive "write-on" process that tests legal writing and technical editing skills. Second-year students become editors when they complete an original note or comment and gain requisite production experience.

Transfer Students

We encourage potential transfer students to write-on to the UC Davis Law Review. We hold a write-on competition for transfer students in July.

The Goldbook

The Goldbook is available for sale in the Law Review office for $5. Hard copies are on reserve in the Law Library. You may also download it here.
