Becoming a Law Review Member
Incoming second-year law students achieve membership in the Law Review via a competitive "write-on" process that tests legal writing and technical editing skills. Second-year students become editors when they complete an original note or comment and gain requisite production experience.
If you are writing onto Law Review, be sure to read the memo outlining the rules and procedure. Memos are available in the Law Review office or here.
Transfer Students
We encourage potential transfer students to write-on to the UC Davis Law Review. We will update this site with more information about the transfer student write-on as the summer competition comes closer.
The Goldbook
The Goldbook is available for sale in the Law Review office for $6. Hard copies are on reserve in the Law Library. You may also download it here.
