"Centuries ago, the smoke of his wigwam and the fires from his council meetings rose in every village. The young listened to the songs and the tales of bygone years; they listened and learned, so that someday they might also repeat the same. The mothers took time to play with their children and taught them to love and to appreciate the simplest joys of nature and life. The aged sat down with only memories of hunting, killing, feasting, starving, and worshipping."
