Community
The UC Davis Law Review is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive community.
Several community events are held each year. Major events include Culture Week, which features activities open to the entire King Hall community, and Service Day, wherein Law Review Members and Editors participate in volunteer opportunities and a donation drive benefitting the local community.
Boards and Committees
Boards are responsible for managing and directing UC Davis Law Review, while committees give Members and Editors a chance to work collaboratively and contribute to Law Review activities beyond their normal duties.
Executive Board
The Executive Board oversees the day-to-day operations of the Law Review. It consists of the Editor in Chief, Managing Editor, Executive Editors, and Content Supervision Editors.
Editorial Board
The Editorial Board is responsible for broad organizational decisions, including updating and amending the Law Review bylaws. All Law Review Editors are members of the Editorial Board.
Community Outreach Committee
Community initiatives are pursued through the Community Outreach Committee, consisting of both 2L Members and 3L Editors. Content Supervision Editors for Volume 59, Meghan Imperio, Catherine Mai, and Nicholas Nijmeh, chair this committee. Symposium Committee
The Symposium Committee assists with the annual UC Davis Law Review Symposium.
The Committee is open to 2L Members and is chaired by the Senior Symposium Editors. The Senior Symposium Editors for Volume 59 are Jacob Finnell, Isobel Sheil, and Isabel Valdelomar. The Senior Symposium Editors can be reached at lawreviewsymposium@ucdavis.edu.
Online Committee
The Online Committee drafts short supplementary works for publication in the UC Davis Law Review Online. The Committee consists of 2L Members and 3L Editors. Senior Online Editors, Sean Chamberlain and Hector Barron-Lu, chair this committee.
