Submit to UC Davis Law Review Print Edition
UC Davis Law Review is not currently accepting submissions. Because we are publishing papers from two symposia in our upcoming volume, the UC Davis Law Review will not be reviewing manuscripts during the fall 2018 submissions season. We hope you will keep us in mind for spring 2019. We plan to resume reviewing in mid-February.
Submit to UC Davis Law Review Online
UC Davis Law Review Online welcomes short, timely submissions, including essays, responses, replies, and book reviews.
We are only considering submissions under 15,000 words at this time. We do not accept submissions from J.D. candidates at other law schools or from UC Davis students who are not currently on Law Review. Current Law Review Members should not submit through Scholastica, but should contact the Managing Editor to ascertain when Notes should be submitted for selection.
Footnotes should conform to the The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (20th ed. 2015). All submissions should be in either MS Word or Adobe PDF format and should include a table of contents. Authors must provide a curriculum vitae and a cover letter with the author's name, affiliation, address, phone number, and email address.
The Law Review will not return submissions nor assume responsibility for lost manuscripts.
If you have any questions regarding article submissions, please contact us at (530) 754-7644 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
We accept expedite requests by Scholastica or email. We strongly prefer Scholastica, as it makes tracking your request much easier. If you must email your request, please include the phrase "Expedited Review Request" in the subject line and provide the following information:
- Law School or Organization
- Article Name
- Phone Number
- E-mail Address
- Requested Review Deadline
- Name of the competing journal
