This year, the UC Davis Law Review Symposium will delve into pressing issues surrounding labor in our modern era. This Symposium aims to examine the various challenges faced by labor stakeholders and explore their responses, both traditional and innovative. We will explore topics such as old-school railroad labor unions, the unprecedented labor strikes across the University of California, and the intersection of immigration law and labor law.

We are excited that the Symposium will coincide with the inauguration of the UC Davis Labor Center. California's labor stakeholders, including researchers, labor experts, and scholars from across the country, will be in attendance. We envision this event as a space for substantive discussion and exchange between labor organizations, practitioners, and legal scholars. MCLE credits will also be offered.
